Your Impact:

• The Specialist will provide hands-on technical expertise, enthusiasm, and creativity.
• Responsible for designing and facilitating Application support, managing Production farms, and various Infrastructure platforms across multiple delivery teams.
• As a subject matter expert, you will take on system architecture responsibilities to design and construct scalable and efficient Infrastructure Platforms.
• Additionally, you will establish best practices, foster thought leadership, and develop shared practices and solutions around Infrastructure.
  
  

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

• 9 to 12 years of experience in DevOps, holding a bachelor's degree in engineering/technology or a master's degree in engineering/computer applications.
• Proficient in DevOps & Cloud tools:
• Azure - Cloud
• Version Control (Git, GitLab, GitHub)
• Extensive experience with Container Infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Hosted solutions)
• Ability to outline container-based environment topology based on the principles of a well-architected framework.
• Capability to design and implement advanced features using Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Kuma, etc.
• Infrastructure Automation (Chef/Puppet/Ansible, Terraform, ARM, Cloud Formation)
• Build tools (Ant, Maven, Make, Gradle)
• Artifact repositories (Nexus, JFrog Artifactory)
• CI/CD tools on-premises/cloud (Jenkins, TeamCity)
• Monitoring, Logging, and Security (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, log analytics, hosted tools like ELK, EFK, Splunk, Prometheus, OWASP, SAST, and DAST)
• Scripting languages: Python, Ant, Bash, and Shell
• Proven experience in designing pipelines & pipelines as code.
• Hands-on experience with the end-to-end deployment process & strategy.
• Solid exposure to tools and technologies involved in constructing a container-based infrastructure.
• Practical experience with Azure, including a solid understanding of computing, networks, IAM, Security, and integration services in a production environment covering:
• Implementing reliability strategies
• Ensuring business continuity
• Achieving performance objectives
• Security requirements and controls
• Deployment strategies aligned with business needs
• Cost optimization, etc.
  
  

• Accountable for managing installation, configuration, automation, performance, monitoring, capacity planning, and availability management of various servers and databases. An expert in automation skills.
• Familiarity with load balancing and CDN options provided by multiple cloud vendors (e.g., Load balancer and Application gateway in Azure, ELB).
• Solid understanding of network algorithms related to failover and availability.
• Ability to write complex code.
• For instance, automating recurring tasks, OS administration (CPU, memory, network performance troubleshooting), showcasing strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Demonstrates HA/DR design on Cloud platforms according to SLAs/RTO/RPO.
• Familiar with migration tools from cloud vendors and independent providers.

• The ability to estimate the setup time required for Infrastructure and build & release activities.
• Good working knowledge of the Linux Operating System.
• Skill development, knowledge base creation, and toolset optimization within the Practice.
• Experience with Content Delivery Network and conducting root cause analysis.
• Understanding of at least one DBMS such as MySQL, Oracle, or NoSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.
• Capacity planning and infrastructure estimations.
• Competence in scripting with any of the following languages: BASH/Python/Perl/Ruby.
• Certification in any cloud platform (Architect or Professional).
