Specialist - Cloud Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable automated application deployments

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)

Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational processes

Implement cloud security controls, including IAM service accounts, secrets management, and compliance requirements

Troubleshoot infrastructure deployment and performance issues across environments

Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build

Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, and container orchestration

Experience with Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting, and Python

Knowledge of IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, Networking, and cloud security concepts

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Cloud Monitoring

Familiarity with Ansible, Nexus, Jira, Confluence, and Git

Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices

Preferred Skills

GCP Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect Certification

Experience with BigQuery, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage

DevSecOps and Security Automation experience

Banking/Financial Services domain experience
