Position Overview
Job Title: MFT Production Support Manager
Core
Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in production support, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing production support teams, including team performance management.
- Proven strategic thinking capabilities with a focus on planning and aligning initiatives with organizational goals, alongside a demonstrated ability to drive process enhancements and foster innovation.
- Capacity to operate with a high degree of autonomy, make independent decisions, and provide clear direction for the function.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, including experience in managing high-performing teams across diverse geographical locations.
- Proficient in conducting root cause analysis for significant incidents, ensuring completion of follow-up actions, and establishing processes to mitigate the risk of recurring problems.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools related to Incident, Problem, and Change management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner for both customers and business stakeholders.
- Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage operational metrics, service telemetry, and trend analysis to prioritize tasks, evaluate risks, measure outcomes, and promote continuous improvement, including SLA/OLA performance, MTTR, incident recurrence, change failure rates, and capacity trends.
- High level of IT literacy, encompassing a broad understanding of IT infrastructure, operating systems, databases, networking, and security.

- Familiarity with Managed File Transfer (MFT) products such as IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, and IBM Sterling ConnectDirect.
- Solid understanding of file transfer protocols including SFTP, FTPS, AS2, and HTTPS, as well as encryption standards like PGP and TLS, along with general awareness of databases and networks.
- Experience in developing and utilizing service dashboards and analytics tools, such as Splunk dashboards, KPI packs, and operational scorecards, to facilitate stakeholder reporting and informed decision-making.
- Possession of ITIL Foundation certification or higher.
- Background in banking, financial services, or within large enterprise environments.
