SPE-Product info & MDM

Act as a specialist for product information and master data management, with responsibility for order management and trading to ensure accurate data flow across retail and order channels in a hybrid night shift position. Partner with cross-functional teams to uphold high data quality, streamline order processing, and enable trading operations that support strong business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product information and master data processes for order management systems, ensuring correct item setup, pricing, availability, and trading attributes across all integrated platforms and channels.
• Work closely with order management teams to verify data inputs, track order lifecycle events, and resolve data-related exceptions that may affect order fulfillment timelines and customer experience.
• Improve trading data, including product classifications, trading rules, and transactional attributes, to support efficient retail order processing and to provide clear reporting of trading performance.
• Oversee nightly batch jobs, interfaces, and data loads within the order management and MDM environment to detect anomalies early and start corrective actions that help prevent downstream operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with retail order management stakeholders to evaluate data dependencies for promotions, inventory allocation, and channel routing, then convert those requirements into structured MDM configurations.
• Keep detailed documentation of product and master data models, business rules, and configurations so stakeholders can easily understand data flows and dependencies across order and trading systems.
• Run routine data quality checks on key master data entities, including customer, product, and price records, and implement remediation plans to strengthen accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Partner with technology teams to define and execute test scenarios for new features or data updates in order management solutions, ensuring product information and MDM rules operate as intended during night shift operations.
• Assist with incident resolution by investigating data discrepancies across orders, invoices, and trading reports, providing thorough root cause analysis and follow-on remediation recommendations that are sustainable.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps in product information and MDM workflows and recommending practical enhancements that reduce manual effort and error rates.
• Interact with retail and order operations business users to collect input on data usability and incorporate those insights into improved data standards and governance practices.
• Ensure adherence to internal data governance policies by enforcing standardized attribute naming conventions and validation rules across all order management and trading data sets.
• Set daily priorities in line with company objectives by ensuring clean, reliable master data enables efficient order processing, supports trading decisions, and ultimately improves service outcomes for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Bring hands-on experience working with order management solutions and trading-related processes for at least two years, with practical exposure to core workflows such as order creation, fulfillment, and status tracking.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills when reviewing large volumes of order and product data, using those insights to refine MDM rules and improve data integrity across business functions.
• Apply knowledge of retail order management scenarios, including omnichannel orders, returns, and exchanges, to design data structures that accurately reflect real-world retail operations.
• Show familiarity with master data management concepts such as golden records, data stewardship, and standardized attributes, and be able to explain how these practices support consistent trading and reporting.
• Use experience with hybrid working models and night shift operations to coordinate with distributed teams and maintain clear communication on urgent data and order issues.
• Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners, including technology operations and business stakeholders, to translate requirements into actionable data solutions.
• Display adaptability in learning new order management tools and MDM platforms, and apply best practices from retail and trading domains to improve the resilience of data processes.
