Job Description

As a Spacecraft Electrical AIT Engineer, you will lead the integration and testing of spacecraft electrical systems, ensuring end-to-end system readiness for launch. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on the validation of complex, highly integrated electronic systems used in space missions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage all test documentation including test matrices, procedures, scripts, and final reports
  • Oversee electrical AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) processes in collaboration with Quality Control (QC)
  • Define and prepare Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) requirements
  • Support and participate in environmental tests (TVAC, Vibration, Acoustic, EMI/EMC) at the satellite level
  • Manage non-conformance and anomaly investigations, proposing corrective actions
  • Support pre-launch activities and launch campaigns (typically 5–8 weeks)
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 14644-1 cleanroom standards
  • Ensure all activities are completed within defined timelines and resources


Must-Have Skills

  • Proficient with electrical tools and test aids (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, breakout boxes)
  • Strong understanding of electrical signal characterization
  • Experience working with EGSE and spacecraft connector mating/demating
  • Capable of writing test procedures, non-conformance reports, and automation scripts
  • Working proficiency in English, both written and spoken


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with spacecraft or high-reliability systems
  • Experience with test script development, preferably in Python or similar scripting languages
  • Familiarity with space system standards and launch campaign operations
  • Demonstrated interdisciplinary and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
