Sourcing Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze spend data across assigned commodity and supplier categories
• Monitor market trends and benchmark suppliers to improve cost, quality, delivery, and technology performance
• Support sourcing leadership in defining annual savings targets, risk assessments, and opportunity identification
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and sourcing action plans to achieve procurement savings goals
• Drive cost reduction activities and promote alternative sourcing solutions with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Manage supplier relationships at the local level and monitor KPI performance, ensuring corrective actions where needed
• Negotiate long-term contracts, pricing agreements, and commercial terms with suppliers
• Collaborate with global commodity managers and cross-functional teams on sourcing initiatives
• Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, quality, production, and suppliers for technical alignment
• Prepare and manage RFQs including drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications
• Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure cost optimization
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, BOMs, and technical documentation for sourcing accuracy
• Maintain sourcing data, supplier records, and contracts in SAP or procurement systems
• Prepare reports on cost savings, supplier performance, and market trends for management review
• Ensure compliance with sourcing processes, standards, and organizational policies
