Job Description
What you will do
- Deliver services and provide presales support in Network Design and Optimization (NDO)
- Develop and improve offerings for services, software, and products
- Consult with technical staff and senior management in customer organizations, to understand their requirements.
- Develop complex end-to-end solutions to meet operators technical and business requirements!
- Implement customer solutions within agreed time, scope and cost, handle expectations, and obtain acceptance
- Share knowledge within Ericsson and with customers
You will bring
- The successful applicant must have deep technical skills, expertise, and experience in radio network design and optimization, including a track record of consulting and leading people.
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering, or IT
- Minimum 8+ Yrs of experience in radio access network design and optimization
- 5G technology knowledge. NDO expertise in 5G will be highly regarded
- Cloud-RAN, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML AI) knowledge is an advantage!
- End to End knowledge covering RAN, transport, packet core and devices will be highly regarded
- Ericsson system knowledge (Ericsson Radio System, Ericsson Network Manager, Ericsson Packet Core, 5G Core, Ericsson MO structure)
- PM Events and Statistics (PM Counters, Cell Traces, Baseband Traces)
- PM Platforms (ENIQ/ITK/Ericsson Performance Platform) , CM (MOM Parameters, System Constants)
- LTE, VoLTE, Carrier Aggregation, UL/DL Comp, ESS, ENDC, NR NSA, VoNR, Concepts of TCP, UDP and IP.
- String Analytical troubleshooting abilities. Fluent with Advanced Data Visualization techniques and tools like Tableau/PowerBI
- Drive test logging tools like TEMS Investigation / NEMO / XCAL / QXDM / Romes and post processing tools like TEMS Discovery/NEMO Analyze/XCAP/QCAT
- Working level knowledge of QGIS(opensource mapping solution), MongoDB, MS SQL(or any RDBMS querying language), Python
