Software Engineering Advisor

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python or Java code for various applications.
• Design and implement Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Navigate and manage AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, and other cloud resources.
• Integrate and work with Tableau API for reporting and data visualization tasks.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Apply a system engineering mindset to optimize infrastructure and application performance.

Required Skills:

• Programming : Proficiency in Python and/or Java coding.
• SQL : Strong skills in writing queries, optimizing performance, and working with relational databases.
• AWS Expertise : Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, and general AWS navigation skills.
• CI/CD : Experience with Jenkins-based pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• System Engineering : Strong understanding of system engineering principles and best practices.
• API Integration : Experience working with Tableau API or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Infrastructure as Code : Experience with Terraform coding for infrastructure automation.

Required Experience & Education:

• 10-13 years of experience in database design and development.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred but not required.
