Job description

• A BE/b tech or higher degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience as an individual contributor in a Networking Product development company-under Network-Security Technologies
• Working knowledge of the following features would be desirable Security Platform features L2 switching, VLAN, Q-in-Q, COS, DHCP, BFD, LACP, Multicast, VRRP, BIOS, File systems, OS/firmware upgrades, system recovery/snapshots
• Strong understanding of routing technologies including OSPF, BGP, GRE Tunnel, SDWAN and L2-L3 VPNs
• Good understanding of network firewalls (Layer-2 to Layer-7), Internet proxy, DNS, SSL VPN, multi-factor authentication and IPSEC technologies
• Good knowledge of Networking protocols, TCP/IP, Linux networking stack (ipv4/v6/IPSec etc )
• Good and working knowledge of traffic generators like IXIA, SPRIENT is a plus
• Good knowledge of Router/Network Firewall arch is a plus, Routing and Security certification holder is added advantage
• Strong automation skills in Python and/or Perl, Robot framework, Debugging skills
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills required, with ability to work harmoniously in a dynamic group
• A Good understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, systems, programming practice
