Software Development Engineer-II (Python with Interoperability)

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II (Backend), with a focus on health IT interoperability . you'll get to work with other engineers to build services that allow our customers to send and receive data to other systems across the healthcare IT ecosystem.

A Day in the Life

• Develop efficient interoperability services that will power data flows for Innovaccer applications
• Identify and communicate best practices
• Participate in the project life cycle from pitch/prototyping through definition and design to build, integration, QA, and delivery
• Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, stability, and security of our platform
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

What You Need

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience, with a start-up mentality and willingness to learn
• Understanding of, and commitment to, the role of AI in speeding the development process
• Expertise in Python, and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with the HL7 FHIR standard, or other healthcare IT interoperability formats such as C-CDA, XDS.b/XCA, or Direct
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence peers and management, and champion best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
