Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Embedded systems, or in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Embedded systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working on consumer wearable/mobile products.

Responsibilities
- Develop both expertise and understanding of wearable software and develop software for the Pixel watch system software team, working on both next generation and legacy products.
- Design, develop and support the Pixel watch System Software, including contributing to BSP/kernel/storage, new board/IP bringup, thermal, charging, and working with silicon vendor teams.
- Find solutions to unique problems faced while making a product worth launching, pay attention to user journeys and experiences.
- Focus on power/performance/battery life and overall software quality and stability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to propose and drive new changes, add new features to WearOS/Android as well as lighting up features on Pixel Watches.
