Snowflake Developer

Job Overview:

• We are seeking an enthusiastic Snowflake Developer with 2 to 3 years of experience in Data Warehousing and Cloud Data Platforms.
• The perfect candidate will possess hands-on expertise in Snowflake SQL ETL development and cloud technologies, demonstrating the capability to build scalable and efficient data solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows within Snowflake.
• Create and optimize Snowflake database schemas, tables, views, and tasks.
• Implement data loading processes utilizing Snowflake utilities and ETL tools.
• Construct complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation scripts.
• Monitor and enhance query performance, storage, and compute utilization.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across various data platforms.
• Assist with production deployments and troubleshoot data-related issues.

Technical Qualifications:

• Proficient experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
• Strong command of SQL and foundational database concepts.
• Background in ETL/ELT development and data transformation processes.
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts, including Star Schema and Dimensional Modeling.
• Experience with Python or Shell Scripting.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Additional Duties:

• Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, IICS, Talend, Matillion, or DataStage.
• Familiarity with Snowflake features such as:
• Snowpipe
• Streams and Tasks
• Time Travel
• Zero Copy Cloning
• Data Sharing
• Knowledge of Airflow or other scheduling and orchestration tools.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD practices.
