Job Description
Job Overview:
- Position based exclusively in Bangalore (BLR)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Extensive expertise in 4G EPC and 5G Core Packet Core network architectures
- Practical experience in system testing across various products including:
- o 5G Core SMF
- o 4G EPC PGW, SAEGW, SGW
- Demonstrated ability to deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and validate packet core network functions in both laboratory and live production settings
- Hands-on experience working within Kubernetes-based containerized environments
- Deep understanding of complete call flow processes, including session setup, mobility, charging, policy control, and subscriber management in LTE NSA and SA networks
- Comprehensive knowledge of 3GPP standards related to:
- o 5G Core Architecture and Procedures (TS 23.501, TS 23.502)
- o EPC Architecture and Procedures (TS 23.401, TS 23.402)
- Solid grasp of protocols such as PFCP, GTPv2, Diameter, SCTP, HTTP/2, and REST APIs
- Proficiency with network analysis tools including Wireshark, tcpdump, and other telecom testing tools for network function validation
- Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with R&D teams to resolve network failures
- Strong emphasis on test automation from the outset of projects
- Effective utilization of AI tools to enhance quality and operational efficiency
