Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • ServiceMax Development Customization
  • Develop and customize ServiceMax solutions on Salesforce including
  • Work Orders Service Orders Service Activities
  • Installed Products Assets and Product Hierarchies
  • Contracts Entitlements SLAs
  • Preventive Maintenance and Scheduled Services
  • Configure and customize ServiceMax business rules workflows and automation
  • Extend ServiceMax functionality using Apex Triggers Classes Batch Queueable
  • Lightning Web Components LWC
  • Salesforce Flows and automation tools
  • Customize technician and dispatcher experiences to improve service execution
  • Technical Design Architecture Support
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable ServiceMax technical designs
  • Partner with Architects and Functional Consultants on solution architecture
  • Design efficient data models considering large asset bases and service history
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce and ServiceMax best practices
  • Optimize system performance and handle high data volumes
  • Integrations Data Migration
  • Design and implement integrations with external systems such as

ERP SAP Oracle JD Edwards etc

  • Inventory Parts and Warranty systems
  • Implement integrations using REST SOAP APIs

Platform Events

  • Middleware MuleSoft preferred
  • Support data migration from legacy FSM systems into ServiceMax
  • Ensure data integrity and reconciliation across systems
  • Agile Delivery Collaboration
  • Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming and estimations
  • Provide technical guidance during implementation and enhancement phases
  • Work closely with BAs QA Product Owners and Release teams
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Testing Deployment Support
  • Write unit tests and achieve required Salesforce code coverage
  • Support SITUAT defect resolution and performance testing
  • Assist with CICD deployments and environment management
  • Provide L2L3 production support and root cause analysis
  • Maintain technical documentation and handover assets

Required Skills Experience

Salesforce ServiceMax Technical Skills

  • 5 years of handson Salesforce development experience
  • 3- 5 years of strong handson experience with ServiceMax on Salesforce
  • Expertise in Apex Triggers Async processing Lightning Web Components LWC

Salesforce Flows and automation

  • Deep understanding of ServiceMax data model and processes
  • Asset management contracts and maintenance plans
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce security limits and performance tuning
  • Field Service Domain Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of Field Service Management FSM concepts
  • Breakfix and preventive maintenance
  • Asset lifecycle management
  • Technician scheduling and dispatch
  • SLA and entitlement based service
  • Experience with largescale field service organizations
