Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Capability Mapping:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive business capability maps to align IT services with business objectives.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document key business capabilities and processes.

- Ensure that business capability maps are up-to-date and reflect the current state of the organization.

2. Application Portfolio Implementation:

- Lead the implementation and management of the application portfolio within the ServiceNow platform.

- Conduct application assessments to evaluate the health, performance, and alignment of applications with business needs.

- Develop and maintain an application inventory, including metadata, lifecycle status, and ownership information.

- Work with application owners to define and implement application rationalization strategies.

3. CMDB Process Maintenance:

- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.

- Develop and implement CMDB policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data integrity and consistency.

- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure that configuration items (CIs) are accurately recorded and maintained.

- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of the CMDB to identify and resolve discrepancies.

- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on CMDB processes and best practices.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and IT operations, to ensure successful implementation of initiatives.

- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on business capability mapping, application portfolio management, enterprise architecture practices, and CMDB processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.

- Proven experience in business capability mapping, application portfolio management, enterprise architecture, and CMDB process maintenance.

- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform and its capabilities.

- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, or similar are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with other IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations management (ITOM) tools.

- Knowledge of cloud computing, microservices architecture, and modern application development practices.

- Experience in conducting application rationalization and modernization initiatives.

- Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
