Service Engineer

Below is the job description for the position of 'Service Engineer'.

Location: Kolkata

Experience Required: 1+ years

Work Hours: 9-10 hours per day

Interview Format: In-person

Please be aware that the chosen candidate will need to travel to Gurgaon for training prior to commencing work at the client site in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the client and their team in promptly resolving queries and issues on-site.
• Detect and report issues/incidents, rectifying them with the Support Team while adhering to the escalation protocol.
• Create and maintain an Issue Tracker for each machine under your responsibility.
• Achieve minimum breakdown time in accordance with the targets set by the Service Manager.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or ITI Certification in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics disciplines.
• 1-2 years of experience in service/support/installation roles within AgriTech or Industrial Automation sectors.
• Skilled in Electrical Panel Wiring.
• Proficient in using Mechanical Tools.
• Competent in operating computers.
• Reside in or near the location where the machines will be installed.
• Willingness to travel daily to the site in 12-hour shifts and must have personal transportation.
• Fluent in Hindi, English, and the local language of the service area.
