Overview

We are looking for skilled professionals to join our Water Team, focusing on a variety of sewerage projects that provide sustainable advantages to communities and the environment. This position will involve hydraulic modeling (1D-2D) along with engineering elements of wastewater initiatives.

Your role

• Collaborate with Atkins' Urban Drainage Modelling (UDM) team.
• Manage projects involving sewerage/storm network modeling, drainage system design, and strategic planning.
• Maintain high standards and ensure on-time delivery of projects.
• Take responsibility for your work and guide junior team members.
• Contribute to the technical growth of graduates and technicians through knowledge sharing.

Location: India

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a Master’s in Water Resource/Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Over 10 years of experience in the water and wastewater consultancy sector.
• Proven experience in network design or hydraulic modeling.
• Expertise in design or hydraulic modeling software (preferably InfoWorks CS/2D/ICM, Windes, or the Bentley suite).
• Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., MapInfo, ArcGIS).
• Strong report writing abilities and proficiency in English.

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to enhance project delivery through innovations and automation.
• Understanding of Visual Basic and GIS automation tools (MapBasics, Python, etc.).
