Senior Test Engineer

Role Overview:

Senior Test Engineers in the Banking domain (specifically Internet and Mobile Banking) take on leadership and mentoring responsibilities, ensuring high-quality test planning and execution while collaborating across functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead communication among developers, testers, business analysts, product owners, and clients to prepare testing strategies as part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Oversee the design and execution of the test strategy in alignment with project goals and business objectives.
• Design complex test scenarios to ensure comprehensive and robust testing of banking applications.
• Guide the development of automation testing frameworks, including test scenarios, test data, and scripts.
• Supervise the setup and maintenance of testing environments, covering software, hardware, and network configurations.
• Define test metrics to evaluate test strategy effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct risk assessments, identifying testing-related risks such as those involving test environments, tools, data integrity, and regression.
• Prepare comprehensive testing reports outlining testing scope, objectives, coverage, results, and key metrics.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill junior team members on testing best practices, tools, and automation frameworks.
