Senior Systems Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and deploy scalable eCommerce solutions utilizing Commercetools
• Set up and oversee product catalogs, categories, pricing, promotions, inventory, and order management
• Create custom APIs, integrations, and middleware services to fulfill business needs
• Facilitate the integration of Commercetools with CMS, ERP, CRM, payment gateways, search engines, and third-party services
• Implement headless commerce solutions using contemporary frontend frameworks
• Construct microservices and event-driven integrations by leveraging Commercetools APIs
• Design and maintain custom business logic via Commercetools API Extensions and Subscriptions
• Enhance application performance, scalability, and security
• Engage in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

Technical Qualifications:

• Expertise in Digital Commerce Platforms, specifically Commerce Tools

Additional Duties:

• Advanced conceptual understanding of at least one Programming Language
• Advanced conceptual understanding of one database and one Operating System
• Familiarity with Software Engineering principles, demonstrated through participation in at least one project
• Capability to independently contribute to medium to complex tasks
• Exposure to Design Principles and the ability to independently interpret Design Specifications
• Ability to execute Test Cases and scenarios according to the established plan
• Capacity to address and respond to production issues while coordinating with stakeholders
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical skills
• Logical reasoning abilities
• Awareness of the latest technologies and industry trends
