Senior Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable eCommerce solutions utilizing Commercetools.
• Configure and oversee product catalogs, categories, pricing, promotions, inventory, and order management.
• Create bespoke APIs, integrations, and middleware services to address business needs.
• Seamlessly integrate Commercetools with CMS, ERP, CRM, payment gateways, search engines, and third-party services.
• Implement headless commerce solutions leveraging contemporary frontend frameworks.
• Construct microservices and event-driven integrations utilizing Commercetools APIs.
• Develop and sustain custom business logic through Commercetools API Extensions and Subscriptions.
• Enhance application performance, scalability, and security.
• Engage in code reviews, testing, deployment, and provide production support.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in Digital Commerce Platforms, specifically Commerce Tools.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Deep conceptual understanding of at least one programming language.
• Strong conceptual knowledge of a database and an operating system.
• Familiarity with software engineering principles, demonstrated in at least one project.
• Capability to independently contribute to medium to complex tasks.
• Exposure to design principles and the ability to interpret design specifications independently.
• Proficiency in executing test cases and scenarios as outlined in the plan.
• Aptitude to acknowledge and address production issues while coordinating with stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Logical reasoning abilities.
• Awareness of the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
