Senior system engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain analytics solutions utilizing Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
• Set up and oversee data views, connections, and reporting environments within CJA
• Implement tracking of customer journeys across web, mobile, and offline platforms
• Create and manage Experience Data Model (XDM) schemas and datasets within Adobe Experience Platform
• Generate calculated metrics, dimensions, filters, and advanced reporting
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations to assist business stakeholders
• Integrate various customer data sources into the Adobe Experience Platform
• Examine customer journeys and deliver actionable insights to enhance customer engagement and business performance
• Work collaboratively with marketing, product, business, and data engineering teams to establish analytics requirements
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance within the analytics framework
• Diagnose data discrepancies, reporting issues, and ingestion failures

Technical Requirements:

• Core competencies in Domain Utilities, Customer Service, and Retail

Additional Responsibilities:

• Strong conceptual understanding of at least one programming language
• Advanced conceptual knowledge of one database and one operating system
• Familiarity with software engineering principles, demonstrated through at least one project
• Capability to independently manage medium to complex tasks
• Exposure to design principles with the ability to comprehend design specifications independently
• Ability to execute test cases and scenarios as outlined in the plan
• Capacity to address and respond to production issues while coordinating with stakeholders
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical skills
• Logical reasoning abilities
• Awareness of the latest technologies and trends
