Senior system engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain eCommerce solutions leveraging the Intershop Commerce Platform
• Customize and enhance Intershop storefront business services and commerce functionalities
• Create RESTful APIs and microservices utilizing Java and Spring Boot
• Construct and deploy containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement product catalog management, pricing promotions, order management, and checkout functionalities
• Integrate Intershop with ERP, CRM, PIM, CMS, payment gateways, and third-party services
• Develop scalable and reusable commerce components adhering to best practices and design patterns
• Enhance platform performance, scalability, and security
• Engage in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support
• Diagnose and resolve application integration and performance challenges
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and QA teams in Agile settings
