Senior system engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee JIVS SAP Archiving processes
• Provide support for JIVS BOD, JIVS Data Transfer, and JIVS Web Application components
• Conduct document and content archiving tasks from SAP S4 HANA systems
• Assist with SAP JIVS integration efforts and transactional data assessments
• Facilitate migration processes within the JIVS environment
• Resolve issues related to archival processing, indexing, and retrieval
• Application Support
• Deliver L2 and L3 application support for production incidents and service requests
• Utilize Azure Monitor and server monitoring tools to track application health
• Investigate root causes and engage in problem management initiatives
• Collaborate with ServiceNow for managing incidents, changes, and requests
• Participate in on-call and production support rotations as necessary
• Database Technical Support
• Create and execute SQL queries for reporting and data analysis
• Administer database objects, including tables and indexes
• Assist with patch deployments and database upkeep
• Support the resolution of performance-related challenges

Technical Requirements:

• Technology Content Services CS, ECM Content Services, Java, Java Application Support, SAP Technical, SAP Archiving

Additional Responsibilities:

• Thorough conceptual understanding of at least one programming language
• Solid conceptual grasp of one database and one operating system
• Familiarity with software engineering principles through experience in at least one project
• Capability to independently contribute to medium to complex tasks
• Experience with design principles and ability to interpret design specifications independently
• Ability to execute test cases and scenarios per the outlined plan
• Capacity to address and respond to production issues while coordinating with stakeholders
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
