Senior Staff Software Engineer, Engineering Platforms, Core

Responsibilities

• Develop the understanding of overall business and architecture, set the goals and roadmap for the product such that it scales and delights ensuring engineering excellence and long-term efficiency.
• Guide the team in supporting fullstack development. Set engineering strategy, author goals and strategy documents, make and influence architectural decisions, and read design documents.
• Build tools to run operations and the necessary end-to-end products in this space.
• Ensure engineering alignment with established best practices, enable our services to be easily testable by Test engineers, supported by Site Reliability Engineer (SREs), and easy to operate in the field.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams, operations, client solutions, User Experience Researcher (UXR), Product management, to support solutions in production.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing or launching software products.
• Experience in Service Design and Software Architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
