Senior Specialist - Package Implementation

The Financial Systems team delivers technology expertise to the Finance department and is responsible for SAP HANA and connected third-party systems. We are transforming how teams work with SAP by building a finance application platform that supports simplification of business processes and empowers the finance community with stronger financial insights. Our SAP landscape runs on HANA, and in February 2016 we migrated to Simple Finance. In 2021, we began our financial transformation with an S4 HANA implementation.

• As a SAP Senior FI, you will design day-to-day solutions for new initiatives, including SAP optimization activities such as setting up new functionalities and customizing or modifying existing functionalities to transform as-is processes.
• You will apply your expertise in SAP FICO and FICA to design solutions that align with business objectives and goals.
• You will contribute to the creation of solution design documents, functional design documents, configurational rationale, testing, and deployment.
• You will partner with business owners and digital teams to identify opportunities for improvement and propose appropriate solution designs to meet business objectives.
• You will bring deep experience in integration across SAP FICO, FICA, Controlling, Payments, and Tax.
• This position requires extensive daily interaction with functional specialists and developers across all finance and IT departments.
• It is essential that you have a strong understanding of finance processes, integration with legacy systems, and strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.

Mandatory Experience Technical Skills:

• SAP Finance Core Architectural Setup Deep Structural Design: Proven hands-on experience in end-to-end setup of global templates, including Enterprise Structure and Global Organisation setup. Detailed Configuration: Expert-level mastery in configuring (not limited to) Organizational Units, Controlling Area, Operating Concern (COPA), Company Code, Chart of Accounts, Financial Framework, Ledgers, Currencies, Segments, and Fiscal Year Posting Period variants; Master Data Hierarchies, Cost Center Profit Center Hierarchies, Internal Order Types and Account Groups, Fixed Assets, Chart of Depreciation, Depreciation Areas and Asset Classes. SAP RISE Experience Direct: Hands-on experience in SAP RISE Private Cloud Edition, including leading Explore phase workshops to define enterprise standards. Should have in-depth knowledge and experience of RISE product offerings.
• Specialized Contract Accounting: FICA BRIM Project Delivery: At least one full-cycle implementation (Greenfield or Brownfield) of SAP FICA or BRIM Convergent Invoicing Convergence. Strong understanding of how high-volume billing data flows from digital interfaces into the General Ledger.
• Advanced Financial Modules: Controlling Operational Excellence: Deep expertise in General Ledger (GL), GL Accounts, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting. Treasury, Banking: Hands-on configuration of Bank Communication Management (BCM) and specialized Intercompany Accounting processes. Controlling COPA: Advanced knowledge of Controlling and Profitability Analysis to drive business insights and financial reporting.
• Version Versatility: Proficiency in mapping business processes across both SAP ECC and S4HANA environments. Integration Stakeholder Management System Ecosystems: Excellent knowledge of integrating SAP FI with complex legacy systems and external digital interfaces. Interface Logic: Solid understanding of data mapping across FIGL, Business Partners, and payment gateways. Communication: Fluent English with a proven track record of managing high-level stakeholders and delivering technical presentations to non-technical audiences. Ability to derive decisions and conclude discussions among different sets of stakeholders. Behavioral Competencies: Agility—ability to grasp complex technical details quickly and manage multiple high-priority deliverables in a fast-paced, quick turnaround environment.
