Senior Specialist - Data Sciences

We are seeking a Data Scientist to help build AI tools for customers. The ideal candidate can work effectively with large data sets to uncover opportunities for product and process optimization, and has a proven track record of driving business outcomes using data-driven insights. The candidate must be able to collaborate comfortably with a broad range of stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities for Data Scientist

Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for using data to deliver business solutions

Mine and analyze data from databases to support optimization and continuous improvement in product development and business strategies

Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data collection methods

Create custom models and algorithms to apply to data sets

Apply predictive modeling to enhance and optimize customer experiences

Coordinate with multiple functional teams to implement models and track/monitor outcomes

Analyze large volumes of information to identify trends and patterns

Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms

Communicate insights using data visualization techniques

Good to have a knowledge of ML lifecycle and model governance

Develop and Deploy advanced Generative AI large language models Azure OpenAI Machine Learning and Deep Learning Modelsalgorithms to enhance andor automate existing business processes with predictive and intelligent decision making content aggregation and contextualized insights

Have experience in developing productionlevel Gen AI solutions by utilizing Azure OpenAI services

Familiar with prompt engineering retrievalaugmented generation Llama index Vector DB and finetuning of opensource LLMs

Qualifications for Data Scientist

We are looking for someone with 68 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models with a bachelors or masters degree in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science or another quantitative field and who is familiar with the following softwaretools

Experience using statistical computer languages R Python etc to manage data and extract insights from large data sets

Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques clustering decision tree learning artificial neural networks XGBoost KNN SVM ANN etc

Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts regression properties of distributions statistical tests and proper usage etc and experience with applications

Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques GLMRegression Random Forest Boosting Trees text mining social network analysis etc

Experience creating and applying advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics including regression simulation scenario analysis modeling clustering decision trees neural networks etc

Experience visualizingpresenting data for stakeholders

Experience with Snowflake will be an added advantage

Experience in deployment of machine learning models using cloud technologies
