Senior Software Engineer, Google Ads

Responsibilities

• Lead serving and format quality related innovation for Map and Waze ads.
• Lead new demand expansion areas (e.g., Demand Gen and Maps Syndication for Map Ads).
• Work with leads and cross-functional teams (Geo, Waze), design and implement changes on campaign, serving, and formats. 
• Identify and support interactions for Quality/Performance measurement, billing, and reporting.
• Work with Product, UX, Quality teams to brainstorm ideas, run live experiments, perform detailed analysis, and make data driven decisions.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
