Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking experienced Full Stack Engineers with strong AI expertise to design, develop, and deploy comprehensive full stack applications. Leveraging Claude AI and other Generative AI (GenAI) tools, you will help streamline engineering workflows throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial requirements and design phases to deployment and ongoing monitoring. Key Responsibilities - Demonstrate rapid learning capabilities and adaptability to new technologies and project requirements - Possess a deep understanding of codebases and system architecture across multiple programming languages including Java, Python, and JavaScript - Conduct thorough code reviews and comprehend large-scale system design, regularly contributing pull requests and substantial code assessments - Exhibit expertise in AI Software Development Life Cycle (AISDLC) frameworks such as BMAD, GSD, SPECKIT, among others - Design and implement end-to-end web applications, encompassing UI development, API integration, and database management, with embedded AI functionalities - Build scalable, production-grade RESTful APIs using Python to support robust backend services - Develop responsive, high-performance front-end applications utilizing Angular 16 or comparable modern frameworks - Integrate AI and Machine Learning capabilities into products through APIs from providers like OpenAI, Azure AI, Claude, Anthropic, and AWS AI - Utilize Claude AI to accelerate SDLC activities, including code generation, code review, debugging, refactoring, and technical documentation - Apply prompt engineering techniques to craft effective prompts that enhance development productivity and output quality - Collaborate closely with AI Architects, Quality Engineers, and Business Analysts within Agile teams to meet sprint objectives - Write clean, secure, and testable code that aligns with architectural standards and coding best practices - Participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies - Support cross-platform performance optimization, scalability enhancements, and overall system tuning - Incorporate asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures using tools like Kafka and RabbitMQ where applicable - Deploy, manage, and orchestrate applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes Technical Skills - Full stack development experience of 3 to 5 years for proficient level; 6 to 8 years for specialist level - Proficiency with AISDLC frameworks such as BMAD, GSD, SPECKIT, etc. - Backend development skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript, including API design, version control, authentication, error handling, and observability - Front-end development expertise with Angular 16 or equivalent modern frameworks, creating responsive, high-performance user interfaces - Database knowledge covering SQL and NoSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization - API development using RESTful patterns, with experience in WebSockets or real-time communication preferred - Infrastructure familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, deployment strategies, scaling, and container orchestration - Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar for asynchronous processing - Skilled in utilizing Claude AI, Anthropic, Claude Sonnet, Haiku, or related AI tools for daily engineering tasks - Prompt engineering proficiency to craft, iterate, and optimize prompts for code generation, explanations, reviews, and testing - Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs such as Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and AWS Bedrock into applications - Solid understanding of Large Language Model (LLM) concepts including context windows, token limits, embeddings, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), latency, and cost tradeoffs - Ability to leverage AI tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot to significantly reduce development cycles - Proven track record of collaborating with data scientists and ML engineers to productionize AI components effectively
