Senior Software Engineer

Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned professional to create, develop, and sustain cutting-edge software solutions. The right candidate will engage in a collaborative environment, playing a key role in the architecture and design of our systems while guiding junior engineers through mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft, develop, and uphold robust and scalable backend services utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Deploy and oversee applications on PCF or Kubernetes.
• Create engaging and responsive user interfaces with modern front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
• Engage in Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and support the evaluation of vendor solutions, technologies, methodologies, and frameworks.
• Produce clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality products.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the enhancement of our development processes.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage including Unit Testing, System Testing/Integration Testing, and Performance Testing.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and impart your knowledge.
• Function within an agile environment, engaging in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• 6-9 years of overall experience in Full Stack Development.
• Strong command of Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience in designing and building microservices.
• Familiarity with PCF, K8s, Docker, or other cloud platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of front-end development principles and experience with Angular/React frameworks.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.
• Experience with relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL, including proficiency in writing efficient and optimized queries.
• Proficient in designing and developing Restful APIs.
• Experience in applying or developing solutions involving Information Security concepts: Cryptography – X.509, public key cryptography standards, JWT, hashing, digital signatures.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Involvement in open source project contributions.
