WordPress Front End Backend((Majority) Full Stack Engineer

Responsible for developing customizing maintaining and supporting WordPress based websites and blogs with a focus on performance security accessibility and scalable publishing workflows Works closely with content marketing and operations teams to enable reliable blog staging publishing and ongoing support

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Customize and extend existing themes and plugins
• Convert FigmaPSDXD designs into responsive WordPress websites
• Optimize website performance speed and SEO
• Integrate thirdparty APIs payment gateways and external systems
• Manage website security backups and updates
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across environments
• Manage deployments from local to staging to production
• Configure hosting environments and domain setups
• Maintain version control and follow proper release processes
• Monitor live environments and resolve production issues
• Deployment DevOps Requirements
• Experience with Gitbased workflows
• Ability to handle manual and automated deployments
• Experience working with staging and production environments
• Knowledge of CICD pipelines preferred
• Experience with hosting platforms cPanel Plesk AWS Digital Ocean Cloudways etc
• Database migration and environment configuration handling
• SSL setup DNS management and server configuration basics

Required Technical Skills

• Provide custom WordPress engineering for core platform features blocks templates and content management capabilities
• Enhance key website capabilities such as faceted search custom content types related content video hubs and content delivery features
• Manage endtoend release cycles including development QA deployment training support and change requests
• Support bug fixes enhancements and roadmapdriven feature development
• Perform WordPress maintenance plugin updates security reviews and platform health checks
• Monitor plugins opensource dependencies vulnerabilities and required updates
• Improve platform performance including search experience page load time and overall site reliability
• Provide visual design and UX support for new features and improvements to existing interfaces
• Support user testing activities and convert feedback into design and engineering enhancements
• Provide functional QA regression testing accessibility QA release testing and hotfix validation
• Support sprint releases feature testing production fixes and release readiness checks
• Provide technical project management for sprint planning backlog tracking stakeholder communication and delivery governance
• Partner with Microsoft stakeholders to manage roadmap priorities risks dependencies and release communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 5 to 12 years years of relevant work experience
