Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

Description

We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ABAP development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in SAP environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and enhancements in SAP systems.
• Perform debugging, testing, and documentation of ABAP applications.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements.
• Provide support for SAP upgrades and new implementations.
• Mentor and guide junior developers in ABAP programming practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10-20 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and development tools.
• Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FI.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus.
• Experience with ABAP Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Knowledge of integrating SAP with other systems (IDOC, BAPI, RFC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
