Senior QA Engineer - Automation

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and scale automated test suites for web and backend applications.
• Define and implement QA strategy, standards, and best practices.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure seamless CI/CD testing.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Lead test planning, requirement reviews, and risk assessments.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and help build a high-performing QA team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in at least one automation tool or framework: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Experience with REST API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with version control (Git), test management (JIRA, TestRail), and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
