Senior QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, SpecFlow, BDD, Protractor, and WebDriver IO.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java or C#.
• Perform in-sprint automation to ensure early detection of defects.
• Understand complex business and technical requirements to design effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Participate in defining test strategy, test plans, and maintain the requirements traceability matrix.
• Execute various types of testing including Sanity, Functional, Integration, Exploratory, and System testing.
• Review test results, analyze failures, and identify root causes.
• Support manual testing when needed for web and desktop applications.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and ensure testing is embedded in the release process.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Generate and maintain detailed and structured test reports.
• Perform risk analysis and contribute to quality improvement discussions.
• Support test environment setup including VM creation and configuration for automation.
• Document test cases, defects, and outcomes using test and defect management tools.
• Work on testing LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) if applicable.
