Job Description

  • Deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base, acting as an advocate for customer needs.
  • Resolve post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means.
  • Handle technical inquiries related to Oracle Electronic Support Services, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers and facilitate communication between customers and Oracle Support teams.
  • Provide advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees regarding customer situations and escalated issues.
  • Interface with customer IT staff periodically, either on-site or remotely, to resolve moderately complex technical problems.
  • Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and workarounds for Oracle products, adhering to best practices.
  • Implement high availability features and maintain Oracle Database performance.
  • Conduct performance tuning at query, database, and memory levels.
  • Utilize expertise in Oracle Database, Goldengate, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data Guard, and Backup & Recovery.
  • Provide support for Oracle Database 11g and 12c environments.
  • Participate in 24x7 support rotations to ensure continuous availability for customer requirements.
