Work You'll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer,

• Deliver code with highest quality
• Conduct code reviews
• Participate in design and architecture of Cloud based deployment
• Technically contribute to cloud infrastructure, security, and operations related aspects
• You are responsible to cut across different teams to find and build effective solutions that's aligned with OAC's best practices and guidelines

Must have skills:

• Minimum of 5+ years of work experience
• Technical Skills
• Strong java development skills
• Good understanding of object oriented programming concepts
• Good understanding of unit testing frameworks
• Good exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins)
• Experience writing Unix shell scripts
• Good understanding of Maven
• Good understanding of Docker
• Experience building micro services on container orchestrator like Kubernetes
• Exposure to any cloud
• Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in a Cloud environment
• Strong collaboration and assertive communication skills, analytical skills, and thorough understanding of product development is required.
• Have been part of teams building scalable software products
• Good understanding of distributed storage and processing

Nice to have skills

• Knowledge on Scala, Python and Terraform
• Experience building Cloud platforms and solutions
• Big Data skills with open source technologies like Spark, Hive Metastore is a plus
