Senior Manager - Technical Operations

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the technical operations team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Establish clear goals, track progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.
• Foster a collaborative work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee infrastructure operations, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments.
• Implement best practices for infrastructure performance, scalability, and security.
• Ensure effective capacity planning, monitoring, and disaster recovery readiness.

Operational Excellence:

• Develop and enforce operational procedures and service-level standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Incident and Problem Management:

• Manage and prioritize incidents, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure 24/7 operational support and system uptime.
• Establish escalation processes and maintain detailed documentation of incidents.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to security protocols, policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Partner with the security team to proactively identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
• Maintain audit readiness and compliance with IT governance standards.

Process Improvement and Innovation:

• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, cost efficiency, and performance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend solutions to optimize infrastructure operations.
• Implement monitoring and alerting tools to enhance proactive issue detection.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or technical operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in managing cloud and on-premise environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, Linux/Windows systems, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with IT monitoring, automation, and configuration management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global and fast-paced environment.
