Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Team & Leadership

• Manage a team of 10–12 engineers and own accountability for complete end-to-end delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and coach team members to build high-performing agile teams.
• Participate in hiring and shaping technical talent.
• Provide guidance on technical challenges and architecture.

Engineering & Technical Execution

• Drive design, development, implementation, and documentation of features.
• Develop scalable cloud-native microservices and APIs.
• Build large-scale data pipelines using Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, Hadoop, Hive, Presto, and Airflow.
• Implement full-stack solutions with front-end in JavaScript/ReactJS and back-end in RESTful APIs utilizing RDBMS or NoSQL.
• Ensure adherence to quality, cost, and delivery standards within architectural guidelines.

Program & Stakeholder Management

• Establish best engineering practices and operational excellence backed by metrics.
• Work closely with Product Management, Business, and Architects to set priorities and deliver impactful products.
• Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise.
• Engage senior leadership to define future product roadmaps.

Innovation & Accessibility

• Drive adoption of inclusive digital experiences, accessibility best practices, and WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and innovative solutions for seller growth.
