Senior Manager, Managed Services

• Provide strategic leadership to the Property Tax teams in India, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee the performance and scalability of teams, ensuring deadlines and SLAs are consistently met.
• Handle hiring, workforce planning, and resource allocation to optimize team capacity.
• Drive innovation by identifying and implementing process improvements, including automation initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison with Avalara Property Tax leadership, representing the Managed Services function in strategic discussions.
• Foster collaboration between teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Mentor managers and foster a high-performance, innovative team culture.

Relevant Work Experience

• 10+ years of leadership experience in property tax, compliance operations, with a focus on strategic oversight and resource planning.
• Qualifications Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; Master s degree preferred.
• Technical Skills Expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and operational scalability.
• Proven ability to implement process improvements and drive efficiency.
• Strong understanding of jurisdictional requirements in property tax compliance.
• Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with SaaS-based solutions or large-scale tax operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaborative initiatives.
