Role Description

As a Senior Legal Counsel, the candidate will:

• Provide legal advice and support for Large Corporates, Wholesale Banking, Structured Deals, Trade Finance, and Transaction Banking Products.
• Develop and maintain standard legal templates and legal guidelines for various banking products.
• Structure transactions and contracts while negotiating terms with third parties.
• Conduct due diligence on deals and transactions, including property matters.
• Manage litigation cases and draft legal documents like Complaints, Affidavits, and Replies.
• Advise on corporate governance issues, regulatory compliance, and business structuring.
• Collaborate with external legal counsels and regulatory bodies.
• Analyze contractual risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise on their impact on business operations.
