Senior Lead Designer - Bridge

We’re currently seeking a Lead Designer – BIM to join our team in Bengaluru. In this position, you will contribute to multi-disciplinary projects delivered offshore, ensuring high-quality design outputs for our international clients.

Your Role

• Create high-quality BIM models and detailed drawings for highway and railway bridge projects.
• Maintain compliance with technical quality standards throughout the design process.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget while maintaining precision and productivity.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with Canada-based clients, delivering responsive, client-focused service.
• Demonstrate proven capability in producing detailed structural design drawings for multiple bridge structure types across all project phases (from concept through commissioning).
• Set up Revit and CAD standards in consultation with clients.
• Develop drawing sheets from Revit 3D models.
• Apply knowledge of reinforcement detailing in both 2D and 3D environments according to project requirements.
• Support the BIM Manager in creating and implementing BIM documentation, workflow procedures, and standards.
• Create families for bridge and structural components when required.
• Provide technical training and mentor junior technicians.
• Independently manage smaller projects and lead a team of technicians on larger projects.
• Coordinate effectively with technicians across other disciplines involved in the project.
• Maintain commitment to quality control during drawing production and adhere to company quality standards across the full project lifecycle.
• Evaluate, follow up, and organize meetings to clarify requests for information, ensuring the team has sufficient data to proceed effectively.
• Possess advanced proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Have work experience in High-speed rail projects.
  
  

About You

• 8–12 years of experience in BIM after completing a Diploma / B.E in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Is highly self-motivated and ambitious.
• Can lead a small team and work with minimal supervision.
• Is committed to pursuing professional accreditation with an international body.
• Can adapt to different cultures and build strong client relationships.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and collaboration skills
