Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting:
  • Sales, Purchase, and Vendor Invoices: Review and verify accounting for Sales, Purchase, and Vendor invoices, ensuring adherence to TDS and GST compliance.
  • Bank & Cash Transactions: Oversee the accounting of bank and cash transactions and manage Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
  • Employee Expense Claims: Review employee expense claims, including perquisites and ensure compliance.
  • General Ledger (GL) Accounting: Ensure proper GL accounting, compliance with IGAAP, and adherence to accounting principles.
  • Inventory Workings: Perform inventory management and accounting to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Other Areas: Ensure accurate accounting for Prepaid Expenses, Provisions, Depreciation, and Forex transactions.
  1. Tax Compliance:
  • TDS & GST: Oversee TDS and GST payments, ensuring accurate and timely return filings.
  • Advance Tax Calculations: Handle calculations for advance tax payments and ensure compliance.
  • MIS Preparation: Prepare and present Management Information System (MIS) reports for tracking tax and financial performance.
  1. Financial Statements:
  • Preparation of FS: Prepare Financial Statements in accordance with Schedule III of the Companies Act, including Notes to Accounts.
  • Schedules Preparation: Develop basic and advanced schedules for Financial Statements and Tax Audits.
  • Transfer Pricing: Understand and prepare segmental schedules related to transfer pricing.
  1. Internal and Client Coordination:
  • Internal Coordination: Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Client Coordination: Interact with clients regarding routine and non-routine accounting and compliance matters, ensuring clarity and timely resolution.
  1. Team Management:
  • Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and ensuring efficient task execution.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring effective team coordination and support.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in any discipline.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Essential Skills:
  • Knowledge of TDS, GST, and other tax compliance matters.
  • Proficient in financial statement preparation and MIS reporting.
  • Expertise in General Ledger accounting and IGAAP principles.
  • Experience in inventory management and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
