Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you re responsible for delivering high-quality software. You will work within a multidisciplinary agile development team in close collaboration with other skilled software engineers, QA engineers, architects and business analysts. You determine your daily tasks in coordination with these colleagues. You will be involved in all aspects of software development and have room to grow professionally.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ Years Hands on Experience engineer in Application Development. Analytical, accurate and result driven.
• Good communication skills (written and oral) in English.
• Proactive problem solver.
• Experience with and enjoys working within an international agile development environment.
• Bachelor or Master Technical degree preferably in Computer Science or other technical education.

Skills:

• Extensive J2EE development experience
• Experienced with Java Web Application development and Web Services development (Servlets, REST, Springboot, Hibernate related technologies).
• Considers and treats Unit testing as intrinsically part of his work.
• Experience with Development tooling (e. g. GIT, Maven, Nexus, Gradle, JIRA, subversion);
• Experience with Object-Oriented software design.
• Experience with Big Data projects such as Scala, Spark, Kafka a plus

Preferred:

• Knowledge of database concepts a plus
• Knowledge of AWS a plus
• Knowledge of Python a plus
• Knowledge of Cloud application development and/or general Cloud Experience is a plus.
