Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Description:

• ISG is a large Security group dedicated to internal Security of Infosys and, in turn, delivering the required
• assurance to Clients for meeting their Security demands under contractual agreements
• The team is
• distributed across multiple locations and organized into 3 Groups, with 10 Functions per Group

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continual updates to the immediate manager on progress or any issues related to the
• requirements
• Support the group in identifying redundant requirements and sharing ideas to
• automate the same
• Assess outsourced third-party technologies and hosting environments to verify they deliver
• adequate protection for the processing, transmission, and storage of company clients
• information
• Offer guidance to new joiners and also to team subordinates
• Stay current with activities across other requirements within the Architecture function to
• cover responsibilities in others’ absence and to build learning capabilities for professional
• growth

Technical Requirements:

• Network security
• Knowledge of Networks, including LAN, WAN, SDN, NFV, Network Capacity Planning, and BGP
• Routing
• Proxy Servers, Network Infrastructure Services, DNS, DHCP, CA Directory Services, Load
• Balancing, VPN technologies, and SSL certificates
• Analyze and propose solutions for client-specific networking security measures
• Evaluate firewall rule bases by identifying vulnerable rules or ports and providing security
• recommendations aligned with organization practices
• Cloud Security
• Knowledge of different cloud environments, cloud security stack, and cloud deployment
• models
• Experience evaluating the delivery of security offerings related to cloud security and
• selecting appropriate controls based on the offering
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and other cloud service providers
• Understanding of security solutions in cloud environments across various security domains,
• such as Identity and Access Management, Security Monitoring, data protection, encryption,
• and tokenization

Additional Responsibilities:

• Cyber Security certifications will be an added advantage
• Certifications such as SANS, OWASP, CCSK, Cloud Security Alliance, CISSP, or any other
• standard institutes or certification bodies
• Network Certifications such as CCNA and CCNP
