Senior Functional Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Architect – Coupa & Supply Chain Management with 11–15 years of experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing Coupa-enabled procurement and supply chain solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Coupa Contract Management, Coupa Inventory Management, Coupa Spend Analysis, Coupa Supplier Management, strategic sourcing, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

In this role, you will lead functional architecture efforts, streamline procurement operations, strengthen supplier management practices, optimize inventory processes, and deliver scalable solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement functional architecture solutions across Coupa Contract Management, Contract Automation, Inventory Management, and Spend Analysis.
2. Collect and document business requirements from stakeholders and convert them into scalable Coupa functional solutions.
3. Deliver functional expertise in Coupa Supplier Management and Supply Chain Procurement to improve supplier engagement and optimize procurement workflows.
4. Evaluate procurement spend and sourcing strategies to uncover cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
5. Manage Coupa integration with existing enterprise applications to support uninterrupted data exchange and end-to-end process continuity.
6. Review current supply chain and procurement processes, identify improvement opportunities, and address bottlenecks to strengthen performance.
7. Design and implement Coupa workflows and automation to streamline inventory management and minimize manual effort.
8. Provide functional support, training, and guidance to end-users to enable effective adoption of Coupa solutions.
9. Partner with IT and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and sustain the stability and reliability of Coupa applications.
10. Track solution performance and ensure continued alignment with business objectives, operational requirements, and compliance standards.
11. Keep up to date with Coupa product enhancements and supply chain management trends to propose innovative solutions.
12. Create and maintain functional design documentation, workflow specifications, process documentation, and audit-related records.
13. Work closely with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams within a hybrid work environment.

Required Qualifications

• 11–15 years of relevant experience in Coupa, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Functional Architecture.
• Proven hands-on expertise in Coupa Contract Management and Contract Automation.
• Experience with Coupa Inventory Management and Spend Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Coupa Supplier Management.
• In-depth understanding of Supply Chain Management and procurement processes.
• Expertise in sourcing and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable Coupa functional solutions.
• Strong understanding of procurement workflow design, process automation, and optimization.
• Experience integrating Coupa with enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications Required

• Coupa Certified Professional.
• Supply Chain Management Certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SCM Managed Services.
• Experience in procurement transformation and process optimization.
• Knowledge of enterprise application integration.
• Experience in functional architecture and solution design for large-scale procurement environments.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed teams.
