Senior Engineer - IT (Jira Administrator)

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Atlassian tools including Jira Software, Confluence, Bitbucket, and related plugins.
• Manage project configurations, workflows, permission schemes, issue types, and custom fields in Jira.
• Oversee Confluence space administration, access controls, and template management to ensure organized knowledge sharing.
• Perform migration activities from on-premise or data center setups to cloud-based Atlassian environments.
• Conduct system patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation to maintain a secure and compliant infrastructure.
• Manage underlying infrastructure, including virtual machines (VMs) and instances hosting the Atlassian stack.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate with IT/network teams to ensure uptime and stability.
• Support integration of Atlassian tools with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
• Maintain documentation for configuration standards, administrative procedures, and change management.
