Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical system design for MV and LV power systems, emergency and normal lighting, fire alarm, life safety systems, ELV systems, ICT, security systems, earthing and lightning protection systems
• Prepare electrical design deliverables including layouts, schematics, reports, calculations, and technical specifications from concept to tender stage
• Perform load estimation and coordinate electrical requirements with other disciplines and stakeholders
• Conduct technical reviews of electrical design outputs prepared by junior engineers
• Assist in concept design stage including space planning, preliminary design, and reporting
• Coordinate with global and remote teams to ensure compliance with local codes and project requirements
• Support approvals from local authorities and statutory bodies
• Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and engineering standards
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and graduates
• Evaluate design changes and support effective change management
• Manage own workload, schedules, and deliverables as per project timelines
• Ensure health & safety compliance in all design activities
• Participate in CPD and continuous professional development activities
