Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for building projects including MV/LV power systems, lighting, earthing & lightning protection, fire alarm, ICT, security, and ELV systems
• Prepare design deliverables including layouts, schematics, calculations, reports, and technical specifications from concept to tender stage
• Perform load estimation and coordinate electrical requirements with other disciplines and external stakeholders
• Assist senior engineers in space planning, preliminary design, and technical reporting during concept stages
• Review and check electrical design outputs prepared by junior engineers
• Conduct technical reviews of electrical design deliverables to ensure quality and compliance
• Collaborate with global and remote teams, ensuring alignment with local authority requirements and project standards
• Support approvals from local authorities and regulatory bodies
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and graduate engineers
• Manage personal workload, timelines, and project deliverables efficiently
• Contribute to design change management and technical decision-making
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and health & safety standards
• Participate in CPD activities for continuous professional development
