Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to lead the development of embedded software and hardware for control systems in electric 2-wheelers. This role involves designing motor control algorithms, battery management systems, and charging solutions, while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in embedded software development for electric vehicles (EVs) and a strong background in C/C++ programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Embedded System Development: Lead the design and development of software & hardware for EV control systems.
Motor Control & Battery Management: Develop and implement advanced algorithms for motor control, battery management, and charging systems.
Software Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate embedded software into vehicle systems.
Testing & Debugging: Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
Technical Leadership: Provide guidance, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to best practices in embedded software development.
Architectural Design & Decision-Making: Participate in system-level design discussions and contribute to strategic technical decisions.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all embedded systems meet industry safety standards and regulations.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to ongoing software and system enhancements.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 5-8 years of embedded software development experience, specifically in electric vehicles (EVs).
Programming Proficiency: Strong expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
Motor Control & Battery Management: Hands-on experience with motor control algorithms and battery management software.
Debugging & Testing: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex embedded systems effectively.
Communication Protocols & RTOS: Knowledge of CAN, LIN, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Technical Leadership: Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance.
Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for embedded systems.
