Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Should be able to understand the data architecture and manage to develop and scale SQL databases based on organization's needs.
- Should be able to develop and maintain Application deliverables with high quality.
- Should be able to Identify long and time-consuming queries, involving data validation and extensive testing to ensure that the database systems and access programs meet the end-user's specifications and requirements.
- Mentor new joinees in application development
- Developing, Modifying & debugging the existing SQL scripts to ensure that they meet business needs.
- Work on adding more data integrity check to the existing database and for the newly added SQL objects.
- Extensively used tools like SQL Profiler, Index Tuning Wizard, and Database Engine tuning wizard
Skill Sets Required:
- 4-8 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
- Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
- Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server features / concepts
- Should have good report development skills. Preferably in SSRS & PowerBI
- Good time-management skills and mentoring skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Good Team Management and Collaboration
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
