Senior Cypress Automation Engineer

Job description

Key responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Perform end-to-end, UI API testing to ensure application reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and improve test stability and coverage.
• Maintain and enhance the test automation framework with best practices.
• Write clear and concise test documentation and reports.

Required Skills

• Strong JavaScript /Typescript programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress for web UI and API testing.
• Knowledge of Mocha, Chai, Jest, or other test frameworks .
• Experience with REST API testing (Postman, Supertest).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools for test automation integration.
• Good to have exposure to Mobile automation
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
